This course is designed for anyone involved in the people business (caring professions, managers, etc.), those who are interested in counselling or just those with a compassion for people.

What are the course aims?

To provide recognised training and to prepare a necessary foundation for those wishing to progress to an Advanced Course and achieve national accreditation through proffessional bodies, such as the ACC.

What is the course format?
The foundation course for counsellors is typically run over six evenings and two full days (usually Saturdays. However, this course can be tailored to suit local needs subject to the required time and course work complying with the requisite hours. For example, the course can be given over three or four days, consecutively or spread over a short period of time or even, perhaps over ten to twelve evenings .
